Inter will have to do without Stefano Sensi for this weekend’s match with Parma and Tuesday’s match against Brescia according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Sensi picked up an injury during the international break during training and although his condition is improving, both games will still come too soon for him to return. He should however be back for the match with Bologna next weekend.
Inter manager Antonio Conte finds his midfield options limited with Matias Vecino also out injured at the moment. The best Conte can hope for is Vecino to make it back to make it on the bench against Parma.
Borja Valero could be set for more action due to Inter’s injuries in the middle of the park. The Spaniard made his first appearance off the bench in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League but could see more action amongst Inter’s packed schedule.
The report concludes that Conte could even look toward the Primavera and may even call upon the likes of Thomas Schiro.
