Today marks the one year anniversary of the appointment of Steven Zhang as Inter’s President.
He spoke about the club and the project they are carrying out in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I would like to thank all our fans, who always follow us with wonderful passion. I would also like to thank our coaches, the players, all the staff: the great steps forward of these years come from the commitment of all of them.”
Zhang then touched on his and Suning’s future goals with the Nerazzurri.
“Our project began with the acquisition of the club by Suning in June 2016, with the aim of bringing Inter to the top of the world sports industry and to build a club based on the principle of financially sustainable growth.”
“Inter’s revenue is now more than double that of the last budget before Suning arrived, to emphasise the success of the work done so far. Leading Inter means taking on the great responsibility to live up to the glorious history of this club and satisfy the passion of millions of fans in Italy and around the world.”
