Both Matias Vecino and Borja Valero may leave Inter in the upcoming January transfer window in order to make space for coach Antonio Conte’s desired midfielders, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The 34-year-old Valero has only made one appearance for the Nerazzurri so far this season, playing a single minute against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. His contract expires next June but Conte and the Nerazzurri management may be keen to see him leave the squad in the upcoming transfer window.
Vecino, on the other hand, has featured a little more heavily for Inter so far this season, making six appearances in Inter’s first nine league games. However, muscle problems as well as unconvincing performances may led Conte to send him away in order to free up space in the midfield for key transfer targets like Ivan Rakitic or Nemanja Matic.
