Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello has shared his delight off the back of Inter’s shareholders confirming club record revenues as they approved the financial statements for the 2018/19 season.
The club, for the first time ever, have exceeded the €400 million mark for revenues, which is a sign of the club’s continued improvement that has been made in the years since Suning bought the club from Erick Thohir back in 2016.
“The Club’s consolidated financial statements for the 2018/19 season are extremely positive with the highest revenues in this club’s history,” he said, as quoted by Inter’s official club website.
“This ensures the club can continue its plans to invest in strengthening the team, in infrastructure and in all the other strategic assets in order to keep growing. One of these projects is for the new San Siro, a project that is both innovative and advanced – values that are part of this club’s and this city’s DNA.”
