Inter Could Move For Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini In January Transfer Window

Inter could make a move for Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

The Italian international is currently sidelined due to a metatarsal fracture but fits the bill for the kind of player Inter are looking for.

Inter want to avoid making short term signings where possible and would rather build for the future by signing players with room for improvement.

Aged just 23, Pellegrini certainly represents a player who could be part of the team for a long time and he would also be an improvement on several of the midfielders currently in Inter’s ranks.

Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal is another player Inter have drawn strong links to. Inter only wish to sign him on loan though due to the fact he is 32 and Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has been in talks with Barcelona over the Chilean.
