Inter could make two signings in the midfield but it all depends on player sales according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.

Antonio Conte wants to see his midfield department improved in the upcoming January transfer window and depending on the possible sales of Matias Vecino, Borja Valero and Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa, he could get two players who would improved his midfield.

Inter have drawn strong links to Arturo Vidal but it has been made clear to them that he is not for sale. If Barcelona open themselves up to a loan with redemption option deal though Inter could acquire him.

Nemanja Matic would appear to be an easy option for Inter to sign. The Serbian is massively out of favour at Manchester United and with a contract expiring at the end of the season, he could be available on the cheap.

The report goes on to conclude that Inter will go all out to sign Sandro Tonali from Brescia in the Summer transfer window. The 19-year-old is being highly tipped to have a bright future and has drawn comparisons to legendary Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo.
