Inter’s annual shareholders meeting will take place this afternoon at Milan’s Palazzo Parigi hotel according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The club’s shareholders will approve the financial statements for 2018/19 which will see record revenues of €415 million confirmed.
In terms of turnover, Inter now find themselves only behind Juventus in Italy but still have some way to go for breaking into the top 10 among clubs in Europe.
It is however the club’s management’s intentions to grow the club’s finances further and get into the top 10 – where Champions League group stage opponents Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund both feature.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that shareholders will also discuss the future of Pirelli as the club’s main shirt sponsor. The long-standing deal with Pirelli is due to expire soon and as per the report, Inter could look toward China for a new main shirt sponsor.
