Former Inter shot-stopper Francesco Toldo has had his say on Inter’s 2-2 draw with Parma this past weekend as Inter failed to take advantage of Juventus slipping up.

“Draws are always annoying, one point does not affect the league table. Victory is around the corner and there is time to recover. I felt sorry for the 2-2 draw at home with Parma,” he said in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

“Parma defended for the final 20 minutes and were also served a stroke of luck. In general, however, I see a lot more positivity around the Nerazzurri than in the past, the fans are very close to the team.”

He was then asked if he thinks Inter’s squad depth is an issue.

“It is not up to me to judge if the Inter squad is too short or not. Inter are a club that has a really strong structure. They are the ones who have to decide, there is a coach there who knows his stuff.”
