In today’s paper edition, Milanese news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport have sang the praises of Nicolo Barella for his performances in recent weeks.
The Italian joined Inter in the Summer transfer window from Cagliari and despite a slow start, he has really found form and been one of the team’s best performers in the past few weeks.
“The manager already knew the qualities that the Sardinian could bring but seeing him play as he has in the big games came as a surprise, just like with Stefano Sensi,” the report begins.
“Barella is someone who plays as if he were in a war, he never gives up and takes responsibility even when his teammates are struggling to take a step forward. In short, he is a total player, who at the age of just 22 has joined Inter and plays like a veteran and feels the commandments of Conte under his skin.”
