Speaking in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia post-match, Inter striker Lautaro Martinez celebrated Inter’s 2-1 win away to Brescia, a result which saw Inter return to the top of the Serie A table for at least 24 hours.

“It was difficult. It was a very tough match against a team that presses very well. I am glad with the victory we have achieved. We tried to impose our game and we are happy to have brought the three points home,” he said.

“Fatigue? That’s normal because we play every three days and always do so with a lot of intensity. We are happy with the work done by the coaching staff and we hope to continue like this.”

The Argentine forward, who opened the scoring for Inter at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, concluded: “Let’s look toward the next match. We are training well and we strive to always win at home and away.”
