Sporting director Piero Ausilio has yet to sign a contract renewal with Inter due to differences between Inter’s offer and his demands according to a report in today’s print edition of Roman newspaper Corrriere dello Sport.

Ausilio’s contract extension has been spoken about for a few months now in the media with Inter hopeful of extending his contract until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The reason for this is because Inter’s hierarchy want there to be stability and if Ausilio was to sign on until then, his contract would have the same duration to that of Inter manager Antonio Conte and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta.

The report also goes on to state that Inter fully intend to meet Antonio Conte’s demands in the upcoming January transfer window whether that be signing a midfielder for the future or a more experienced midfielder for now.

Inter may also look to sell on some players with the report mentioning Matias Vecino, Borja Valero and Matteo Politano as players who could all move on.
