Atletico Madrid are the latest club to spark an interest in signing Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic according to a report from Spanish news outlet Marca.

Los Colchoneros have joined Inter, AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain in being interest in the out-of-favour Croatian playmaker.

The 31-year-old has found playing time this season significantly reduced compared to last season with him having been forced to settle for just 233 minutes across all competitions this season.

Due to this, several clubs have taken a keen interest in signing him due to believing they could be in with a shout of getting a good deal for him.

As things stand, as per the report, Inter are currently in the lead to land the former Sevilla and Schalke player. Contact between Inter management and the player’s representatives is almost daily and Inter have the cash sitting ready to make their move for Rakitic, who wishes to leave the Catalan giants.
