Inter’s travelling support last night in Brescia strongly insulted former striker Mario Balotelli according to a report in today’s print edition of Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter’s fans started giving it tight to the 29-year-old as soon as his name was mentioned over the tannoy system at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti as they whistled and jeered when his name was called. The insults continued as the game, which ended 2-1 to Inter, progressed with the jeers occurring when he touched the ball.

Balotelli spent three years with Inter between 2007 and 2010 before embarking on a somewhat nomadic playing career that has seen him stop off at Manchester City, AC Milan, Liverpool, Nice and Marseille before surprisingly joining Brescia this past Summer.

The Italian striker has made five appearances across all competitions since he rocked up at Brescia, in which he has managed to score one goal in 386 minutes on the park.
