Inter have identified several targets for the upcoming January transfer window, including midfielders Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Nemanja Matic, a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport leaves.

All three players currently find themselves strongly out of favour at Barcelona and Manchester United respectively which is partly the reason why Inter have sparked an interest in them.

Whilst Barcelona value Rakitic at €20 million, they have no intention of selling Vidal for the time being. As for Matic, the Serbian’s contract with the Premier League club is due to expire at the end of the season, meaning he could perhaps be signed in a low cost deal.

With Matic being 31-years-old, a lot of Inter’s potential move for him would depend on how much he was wanting in terms of salary and how long a contract he wants with other reports stating Inter would prefer to avoid short-term signings of older players.
