Inter Primavera player Jacopo Gianelli has spoken ahead of Armando Madonna’s side taking on their Roma counterparts tomorrow afternoon.

“We have been working very hard in training but the manager has been trying to get us accustomed to them since the pre-season retreat,” he said in an interview with Inter’s in-house channel, Inter TV.

“We can’t wait to get on the pitch against Roma and try to get the three points. It will not be an easy game, we will have to use all our skills to win.”

The 18-year-old right winger then commented on the team’s performance in the UEFA Youth League, where they have picked up maximum points from their first three fixtures in the competition.

“We have proven to have character, this team never gives up and we have also seen against Borussia Dortmund. Next week we will have to take the field with the right mentality.”
