Inter striker Romelu Lukaku took his Inter teammates out to dinner last night and thanked them for the continued support they have given him since he arrived at the club.

The Belgian international arrived at Inter this past Summer in a club record €65 million transfer from Premier League club Manchester United and has since went on to score seven goals in his first 12 matches across all competitions in the Nerazzurri shirt.

“I am very happy to be here with you. Thanks for the help you have given me. This is a special group,” the 26-year-old told the team as he addressed them, as evidenced by a story Inter wing back Antonio Candreva posted to Instagram.

Lukaku has struck up a strike partnership with Lautaro Martinez with both players styles appearing to compliment the others. Between them this season, they have managed 14 goals across all competitions and are sure to score yet more goals as the season progresses.
