Inter intend to soon begin talks with Alessandro Bastoni over a new and improved contract with the club according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
He is already under contract until the end of the 2022/23 season and it is as yet unclear how much longer Inter wish to extend his deal by.
Bastoni has made four appearances across all competitions so far this season and is expected to see yet more action in the coming matches before the international break.
The 19-year-old Italian youth international defender arrived at the club back in 2017 from Atalanta and Nerazzurri management have high hopes for him and definitely see him as part of the club’s long term future.
Sampdoria and Parma have both shown an interest in taking him on loan but the report goes on to state that he will be going nowhere, due to the fact Inter manager Antonio Conte has been convinced by him in his few appearances so far.
