Inter manager Antonio Conte has forged what appears to be a perfect strike partnership between Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport.

10 of Inter’s last 12 goals scored have come from either the Belgian or the Argentine, who appear to be the perfect pair for Antonio Conte’s ideas for the attack.

The pair help one another out and appear to up eachothers game too. In Lukaku, Conte has himself a player who can stretch the pitch and create spaces, with great physical attributes and of course able to finish. In Lautaro Martinez, he has a player with a killer instinct in front of goal, particularly in the box.

Similarly to how Eder and Graziano Pelle fared in Conte’s EURO 2016 Italy side, Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez have made themselves available to the team and formed an unusual but incredibly effective partnership together. It almost must be remembered that Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez are both superior players too.
