Riccardo Ferri: “Inter Have Grown, Conte’s Words Can Stimulate The Group”

Speaking in an interview with Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka, former Inter central defender Riccardo Ferri has shared his thoughts and feelings on the current state of the team off the back of their victory on Tuesday night.

Inter picked up their eighth win in 10 Serie A games on Tuesday as they got the better of hosts Brescia by winning 2-1 at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, with thanks to goals from in-form strike partners Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.

“Inter are a team that has grown, but they also have had drops in aggression. A new journey has been started, where there has been many changes made. If you do not attack cohesively, you expose yourself to counter attacks,” Ferri, who spent 13 years of his 15 year playing career at between 1981-1994, said.

Ferri concluded: “We are missing important players, the wing backs are doing great things. Conte’s words can stimulate the group.”
