Sconcerti: “If Inter’s Conte Thinks He’s Got Problems, He Must Think Of Those Who Don’t Have Lukaku”

In a column in today’s print edition of Milanese news outlet Corriere della Sera, noted journalist Mario Sconcerti has touched upon the gap Juventus and Inter are creating over the other traditional big sides in Serie A.

“Juventus and Inter are now at the first real escape point of the season, they are seven points ahead of Roma and eight ahead of Napoli and Lazio,” he began his column.

“If Conte thinks he has problems, he must think of how many Brescia have, who they have just played and at least 15 other Italian teams that do not have Lukaku able to score suddenly from thirty metres. Inter is more humble and is less distracted and after 10 days they are on par with Juventus.”

Lukaku is currently the third top scorer across the division having netted seven goals in his first 10 league appearances for the Nerazzurri, following his Summer arrival from Premier League club Manchester United.
