Inter manager Antonio Conte would like to see three additions made to his squad in the upcoming January transfer window, a midfielder, right wing back and a striker, according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Barcelona and Chile star Arturo Vidal is the primary target. Vidal has grown unhappy with his lack of playing time at the Blaugrana and wishes to be an integral part of a project, something which is unlikely to happen now at Barca with all their midfield options.
On the topic of the midfield, Inter will be on the look out for buyers for Borja Valero and Matias Vecino, neither of whom have impressed Conte this season.
When it comes to right wing back, Inter have identified Parma’s Matteo Darmian. Relationships between the two clubs are excellent and therefore it should not be too difficult for a deal to be thrashed out. It all however depends on how Valentino Lazaro does between now and January.
