The biggest constraint Inter and AC Milan are facing with their new stadium relates to how San Siro will be incorporated according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
As part of a public interest being declared, the authorities attached 16 different conditions on it. Whilst most of these conditions are not all that of a big deal to the clubs, the ones relating to San Siro are a particular problem.
The clubs had intended to bulldozer the historic ground as part of their plans and build hotels, office and commercial space on the ground but it now looks like San Siro will be remaining in some capacity.
The report from the Turin newspaper goes on to state that the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri are awaiting a concrete proposal for what will happen to San Siro, something that could arrive some point next week with the council set to meet to discuss it.
