Max Hagmayr, the agent of Inter defender Valentino Lazaro, has confirmed that for the time being a January transfer window exit for his client is not on the cards.

Lazaro joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin this past Summer but has struggled to break into the team having been limited to just two substitute appearances for a total of 58 minutes.

Multiple reports in the media have stated that Inter could perhaps loan the Austrian international out whilst others have stated that Inter have already lined up a move for Parma’s Matteo Darmian, due to the 23-year-old’s struggles so far.

In the pre-match press conference ahead of Inter’s match with Bologna, Inter manager Antonio Conte gave Lazaro a real vote of confidence.

“It is not yet in our plans for him to leave in the January transfer window,” Hagmayr insisted in an interview with Calciomercato.it.
