Based on Inter’s start to the league campaign, they will finish the season on over 90 points, according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter have picked up 28 points from a possible 33 across their first 11 games and could well come close to the 97 points that Roberto Mancini’s side picked up during the 2006/07 title winning season.

Antonio Conte’s side find themselves breathing right down the neck of arch-rivals Juventus, who, by comparison have 29 points to their name and sit top of the table.

Over the past two seasons under Luciano Spalletti, Inter picked up a total of 141 points, 72 in his first season and 69 in his second meaning, going by the projection, Conte will help Inter to around another 20 points.

Should the projection come true, Inter will also exceed the 80 point mark for the first time since the Triplete winning season of 2009/10 wherein Jose Mourinho’s Nerazzurri won the Serie A title with a points tally of 82.
