Inter had scouts present at the Stadio Artemio Franchi as Fiorentina played host to Parma yesterday to watch Dejan Kulusevski according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Nerazzurri have taken a keen interest in the Swedish youngster who has starred whilst out on loan at Parma from fellow Serie A club Atalanta.
Atalanta are said to value the 19-year-old attacker at €25 million but are hopeful of receiving more through interested parties becoming locked in a bidding war. Inter face competition from arch-rivals Juventus among others for him.
The report goes on to state that Inter scouts also paid close attention to Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli with Inter scouts believing the box-to-box midfielder could be perfect for Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
It will be far from easy for Inter to convince Fiorentina to part ways with him though. In a bid to fend off interest in him, La Viola recently tied him down to a new long term deal which will expire at the end of the 2023/24 season.
