According to a report from German broadcaster Sky Sport Deutschland, Marco Reus was not present for Borussia Dortmund training on the eve of their Champions League clash against Inter.

In this afternoon’s press conference Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre confirmed it remained to be seen whether Reus would be available for tomorrow’s match at Signal Iduna Park and his absence from training will only increase doubts about his availability.

Reus is the current club captain of the German giants and will be a big miss for Favre’s side if he is unable to shake off his ankle problem.

This season Reus has made 14 appearances across all competitions, in which he has contributed six goals and tallied one assist in 1175 minutes on the park.

Whilst Dortmund may have to do without Reus, they will be able to count upon Paco Alcacer. The Spanish striker missed the reverse fixture through injury but returned from injury at the weekend as Dortmund won 3-0 against Wolfsburg.
