There were two reasons for Antonio Conte’s outburst of anger following last night’s 3-2 loss away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter found themselves two goals to the good at half-time but could not get going in the second half and were well beaten by the hosts in the second half.

Former Italian national team manager Conte hit out at club management in several of his post-match interviews and accused them of poor planning upon his arrival at the club.

He did this firstly to defend his players, many of whom have been forced to play multiple full games in a row, something that is having a visible effect on performances, particularly later on in games as of late.

He also did it to re-launch the request he made to club management for another midfielder and another striker to be signed in the upcoming January transfer window.
