In an interview with TMW Radio, former Inter midfielder Antonio Manicone shared his views on Inter’s performance in their 3-2 loss away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

“Inter could not keep that game pace for all 90 minutes, just like Dortmund would not have played badly for that long either,” he said.

“The psychological side of things has been affected. I don’t know the the physical conditions of the Inter team, but a draw would have been the fairest result. Furthermore it was a strange match, just think that a full-back scored two goals, in any case it remains a great first half and Conte knows what he has to do.

“The fact remains that Inter has their destiny in hand. Conte said some objective things and the team played a first half that few teams manage to keep up, he will certainly look to restart from this.
