Antonio Conte’s former assistant manager Massimo Carrera believes that it is a two horse race for the title this season in Serie A, a race which will be contested by Conte’s Inter and the Nerazzurri’s arch-rivals Juventus.

“I think it will be a two team race between Inter and Juventus. There is still a long way to go in the season and Napoli could still join the race, but it will not be at all simple for them,” he said as part of an interview with Corriere di Torino, which appeared in today’s print edition of the newspaper.

Juventus are currently leading the way in Serie A having picked up a possible 29 points from the 33 available to them.

Inter are right behind them though and have surprised many people in doing so with them just one point behind on 28 points.

Napoli meanwhile find themselves way down in seventh, 10 points adrift of Inter and 11 adrift of Juventus.
