According to a report from FCInterNews.it, Inter have made an approach to the representatives of promising Argentine starlet Matias Godoy.

Inter’s scouting team have been left impressed by the 17-year-old striker’s exploits at the ongoing under 17 World Cup, which is taking place in Brazil, in which he has two goals and an assist in three appearances for the Albiceleste.

Godoy made his first team debut as a 16-year-old and is regarded as one of the top prospects in the South American nation at the moment much like Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito is seen as one of the top prospects for Italy meaning Inter could have two of the top attacking  prospects of a generation on their books if they are to sign him.

Currently on the books of Atletico Rafaela, Godoy, who has been labelled the new Luis Suarez by some, has made five appearances across all competitions this season in which he has scored one goal in 125 minutes on the park.
