Inter president Steven Zhang has delegated the day-to-day management of the club to Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta for the time being according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

Zhang is currently back in his native China for business matters and this decision comes at a time where things would appear quite heated in the Inter environment.

Following Inter’s 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Inter manager Antonio Conte lost it and hit out at the club management, accusing them of poor planning in the Summer transfer window.

Conte is unhappy with how his first transfer market as manager of the club. Conte would have liked to have seen a similar calibre player to Radja Nainggolan – who was moved on – brought in to replace him as he does not deem Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino as anywhere near as good.

The report goes on to state that Inter are considering January transfer window moves for Nemanja Matic and Dejan Kulusevski whilst they are also looking at Gaetano Castrovilli with a view to the Summer window.
