In an interview with Italian football magazine Rivista Undici, Inter starlet Sebastiano Esposito has spoken on being involved in the Inter first team.
“I am having fun, but at the same time I realise that this year is crucial for me, more delicate than other years. This year I can make a lot less mistakes. Less mistakes mean more opportunities for me,” he explained.
“Am I the face of my generation? I can be a leader in the under 18 national team and Inter Primavera but at the same time I have to prove every time I deserve it.”
The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best talents of his generation and due to injuries, has been given some more game time than he and others would have perhaps expected at first team level this term.
The striker has made three appearances off the bench for the Nerazzurri first team for a total of 49 minutes on the field and has looked very comfortable when he has come on.
