Stefano Sensi will make a return to the starting line-up for this weekend’s match at home to Hellas Verona according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian midfielder made a return from injury off of the substitutes bench in Tuesday night’s 3-2 loss in the Champions League away to Borussia Dortmund.

The report goes on to state that Matteo Politano, who left Signal Iduna Park on crutches after sustaining an ankle injury, will have his condition assessed today ahead of the match but is likely to be kept out of action for at least a month.

Roberto Gagliardini, who missed the Dortmund match with a muscle strain, will also have his condition assessed ahead of the match at San Siro.

Both Danilo D’Ambrosio and Kwadwo Asamoah have shown signs of progress in their respective recoveries from injury and there is optimism that D’Ambrosio could be back against the Gialloblu.
