Olivier Giroud could be the first gift Inter manager Antonio Conte receives from club management in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

In recent weeks there has been contact made with the Frenchman’s representatives and Conte would be more than happy to be reunited with the veteran who he managed whilst in charge of Chelsea.

Giroud currently earns €8 million a season at the Premier League club and to overcome this, Inter could look to spread it over a longer deal. Alternatively, SPAL striker Andrea Petagna is someone Inter could target instead.

The report goes on to state that if the price is right, Inter will also try to sign Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish midfielder has starred whilst out on loan at Parma from Atalanta, who value him at €30 million,

Moreover, if Inter wish to add a new full back, the favourite is Matteo Darmian but a move for Alessandro Florenzi cannot be ruled out either. The report suggests that Inter and Roma could perform a swap deal that would see Matias Vecino head in the opposite direction.
