Former Inter player Sergio Gori has had his say on Antonio Conte’s outburst following Inter’s 3-2 loss away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

“When you appoint a coach like Conte, you know he comes with a good and a bad side. As far as his comments are concerned it depends on what was agreed at the beginning of the season,” he began an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

“Conte is not an easy manager for a club to work with but if the owners have made commitments to win immediately, it must keep them. The gap with Juventus is wide and there is a big difference because Juventus’ team is bigger and has more quality.

“In my opinion, his comments were wrong but he is so, impulsive and he wanted to make it clear that certain requests had not been met.”

He concluded by revealing what he is expecting from Inter’s owners, Suning.

“I hope that Suning, who are a giant, have made it clear that if the objective is to fight with Juventus for the Scudetto, they will have to make the right moves and satisfy him.”
