Inter and Juventus are both vying for the signature of Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The Croatian has grown out-of-favour under Ernesto Valverde at the Blaugrana this season and been limited to just one start all season between the league and Champions League action.
Juventus are targeting Rakitic as they believe his addition will help them increase their chances of success in the Champions League, a competition which he has won once. The Bianconeri club have already made contact with the Blaugrana, who are not hiding the fact Rakitic is available but they do not wish to rush into any decisions.
Inter have meanwhile drawn heavy links to him in recent weeks and months as they look to satisfy manager Antonio Conte’s demands for another top quality central midfielder.
This season Rakitic has made 10 appearances across all competitions, in which he has contributed a single assist.
