A report from Corriere della Sera assures that Inter manager Antonio Conte’s outburst following the loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night has not damaged relations between Conte and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta nor the team.

Conte certainly did not hold back during post-match interviews at Signal Iduna Park after watching his side fall to a 3-2 defeat during which he took swipes at club management and complained about the quality of the team.

“The relationship between Antonio Conte with Beppe Marotta is strong and solid, as is the relationship with the team. The locker room sees in the former national team manager as a man capable of leading the team to victory and the players are ready to give the soul for him,” it begins.

The report goes on to add that, “the defeat in Germany has not tarnished Inter’s desire to hunt down Juve and overtake them, perhaps as soon as Saturday before clash the between the Bianconeri and AC Milan on Sunday.”
