Inter defeated Hellas Verona at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district by 2-1 to go top of the Serie A.

The Nerazzurri came back from a goal down in the first half after Handanovic conceded a penalty to take all three points by staging a comeback in the second half.

Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino, latched on to a cross from Austrian international Valentino Lazaro to make things level, before Nicolo Barella scored a screamer to secure all three points.
