Speaking in an interview with Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka, former Inter striker Antonio Cassano has shared his worries relating to Inter’s possible involvement in the Europa League.

Inter are still in with a shout of progressing in the Champions League but could well fall into the Europa League and Cassano believes it would be far from ideal for the Nerazzurri.

“For Inter the biggest problem would be the Europa League, it would become hard for them. It is an alternative to consider and in that case you have to have more players. Playing Thursday and Sunday would become gruelling,” he said.

He then shared what he made of Antonio Conte’s outburst after Inter’s 3-2 loss away to Borussia Dortmund and discussed Inter’s capabilities on the transfer market.

“From what I know Conte is like that, they brought him in knowing how he is. Inter went out and satisfied him in the transfer market. In this period where Inter can do what they want on the transfer market, they have to sign certain types of players.”
