Inter linked Matias Godoy has spoken on how it feels to know that Premier League club Chelsea, among others, have a reported interest in signing him.

“The fact that Chelsea is following me is a little moving and I take it in the best way possible but must continue to work,” he said in a recent interview as quoted by Argentine broadcaster TyC Sports.

“I am full of pride. Me and my family have made a very big sacrifice to get here. Already being in the National Team is a great pride for me.”

The 17-year-old attacker has been one of the stars of the ongoing under 17 World Cup in Brazil and is currently on the books of Argentine side Atlético de Rafaela, who play in the second division.

This season he has made five appearances across all competitions. In 125 minutes on the field he has contributed a single goal.
