Inter manager Antonio Conte has become the third manager in Inter history to win 10 of the first 12 league games in a season according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Conte’s Inter completed the feat with a 2-1 win over Hellas Verona at home this past weekend and Conte joins former Inter manager Giovanni Trapattoni and Aldo Olivieri in managing to do this.

Trapattoni managed it in the 1988/89 season, a season in which he went on to lead the Nerazzurri to a 13th Serie A title at the time.

Aldo Olivieri managed it during the 1950/51 season but missed out on the title to city rivals AC Milan by a single point.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that Conte has made history in the era of three points per win by picking up 31 points from a possible 36. The previous record had belonged to Luciano Spalletti who managed to pick up 30 points from the first 12 games back in 2017.
