Inter are one of four clubs with an interest in Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Florenzi’s future in the Italian capital is in doubt and as a result he could leave the club as soon as the upcoming January transfer window.

The reason for this is the 28-year-old does not wish to miss out on a spot in Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad for next Summer’s EURO 2020.

Inter, much like fellow Serie A side Fiorentina, have a long standing interest in Florenzi, who has made 271 competitive appearances across all competitions for Roma, who he is under contract with until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Ligue 1 outfit Lyon have also shown an interest in signing him with manager Rudi Garcia keen to be reunited with the Italian wing back.

The report also states that there is interest from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenua, where Florenzi could link back up with Stephan El Shaarawy, who swapped Rome for Shanghai this past Summer.
