Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic discussed Inter’s win over Hellas Verona on Saturday when talking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia before Juventus’ league clash against AC Milan.
“Inter? They’re doing very well too, but let’s look at ourselves, we have to have a great season if they continue like this. If we win this game we go back ahead, Inter are having a good season, congratulations to them. The start to our season was very good and we have to continue like this.”
Inter and Juventus’ strong starts to the season have seen both clubs rise high above the rest in the league table, with the closest team to either of them sitting only on 24 points.
Inter coach Antonio Conte, who has a history of taking a club to a league title in his first season, is hoping to continue that trend with the Nerazzurri again this season against his former club.
