Inter manager Antonio Conte has spoken on the need for high demands if success is wanted as part of an event at the Leadership Development Institute in Saudi Arabia.

“I have to be first to set a good example and not give 100% but 110% instead. Once you transmit this every day it is obvious that you can raise the bar for those who work with you and the players,” he said at the event as relayed by FCInterNews.it.

“The demands must be high for everyone if you want to write history or succeed. The winner always write the history of the club for which they play or for which they manage.

“I realise that I set very high demands and because of that so many people find it difficult. If the ambition is to succeed, it is inevitable that you should ask a lot both of yourself and others.

“It is a way of working to try and excel and to try to win. There is no certainty that in the end we will win but the important thing is that at the end of the season you know that you have done everything possible to give the maximum.”
