Parma manager Roberto D’Aversa has downplayed Inter’s reported interest in his players Dejan Kulusevski and Matteo Darmian.

“Conte is interested in some Parma players? Antonio can go and look elsewhere. I have an excellent relationship with Conte,” he told Italian radio station Radio 24 during their show, ‘Tutto Convocati’.

“I am in a difficult situation, whilst the team has improved in terms of overall quality, it is a bit short. Rather than try to fix his situation for him, I have to think of mine.”

The Nerazzurri have drawn links to both players in recent weeks ahead of the January transfer window opening in a few weeks time.

Kulusevski has surprised many with his performances whilst on loan with the Ducali from Atalanta, who are said to value him at no less than €30 million.

As for Darmian, Inter are considering the Italian due to his versatility, which enables him to comfortably play in any position in the defence.
