Valentino Lazaro could be given yet another chance to show off what he is capable of in Inter’s first game back after the international break against Torino according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Upon arriving at the club from Hertha Berlin in a circa €20 million deal, the Austrian international was dealt a blow as he sustained an injury which kept him out for pre-season.

He struggled to force his way into the team and did not shower himself in glory in his first two appearances which came against Slavia Prague and Sassuolo.

However, in recent weeks he has really turned things round and was among the best performers in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Hellas Verona, in which he provided his first assist in Nerazzurri colours as he crossed the ball that Matias Vecino headed home.

The 23-year-old has made five appearances across all competitions to date for a total of 252 minutes on the field.
