Inter and AC Milan intend to send a letter to the Milan city council asking for clarifications relating to the future of San Siro according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The two clubs wish to have it in stone if there are any constraints placed upon what can and cannot be done to San Siro, which the clubs had initially wanted to completely demolish.

The clubs are hoping to send this letter as soon as possible and an answer to the letter must arrive within the space of 120 days.

The report goes on to state that the clubs are continuing to analyse the 16 conditions set out by the city council as part of them declaring a public interest in the new stadium project.

It remains to be seen if the project will still be seen as sustainable at San Siro and for this reason, the possibility of moving elsewhere and constructing the project in the Sesto San Giovanni area of the city remains.
