Inter could bring Andrea Pinamonti back to the club as early as the January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri sent the youngster to the Rossoblu on a season long loan with them having an obligation to turn the move into a permanent one come the end of the season.

Corriere dello Sport do however stress that is is difficult to foresee the Italian youth player departing after just half a season.

The 20-year-old striker has really benefited from the switch to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side with him now a regular starter, something that he was not able to achieve whilst at Inter, largely due to the fact the team were only playing with a one striker system at the time he was with the club.

This season he has made 11 appearances across all competitions. In 895 minutes on the field, he has scored two goals and provided three assists.
