Milan Skriniar has spoken on how it feels to have played so many games in quick succession in recent weeks for Inter.
“We had a very tight schedule, with lots of matches close together but, thanks to the excellent preparation we did, we faced them all in the best way possible. On a personal level I feel great and I am happy that Conte gives me great confidence and lets me always play,” the central defender told the gathered media at Slovakia’s training camp,
“At the end of the games you feel that the energy goes down. You are forced to play every two or three days and you begin to feel the effects of fatigue. Added to this are the continuous journeys but we are paid for this and we are happy to play at these levels.
“Does being young help me? Certainly yes. And as I see it, it’s better to play so many matches in a row so we don’t have to train too much. I like it and the goal is always to be at the top.”
