Inter have no cooled their interest in signing Ivan Rakitic despite Barcelona having now placed him on the transfer list according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Blaugrana have already offered the Croatian out to several clubs for a fee in the region of €30-35 million but they could reduce their demands when the January transfer window comes around.

Inter had drawn heavy links to the former Sevilla player. in recent weeks but with signing him looking difficult at the time, Inter decided to go down a different path and are now on the lookout for a midfielder who is not only younger but also has different characteristics to Rakitic.

The report goes on to state that Inter really like the look of Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski, who is currently starring whilst out on loan at Parma.

Inter will need to fork out between €25-30 million to sign him but could sign him on a loan with redemption option basis. A move for Kulusevski would have to see Parma agree to terminate his loan with them though which could prove to be a stumbling block.

The broadcaster also state that it is unlikely that Dries Mertens, who has also drawn links to Inter, will leave Napoli and that Alessandro Florenzi’s future at Roma is currently up in the air.
